Ta en backup på RMS Encryption Key
Starta CMD med Adminrättigheter.
Starta SecureStorageBackup.exe som ligger i Opsmgr mappen, exemel nedan.
C:\Program Files\System Center Operations Manager 2007>SecureStorageBackup.exe
Nu startar appen “Encryption Key Backup or Restore Wizard”, tryck på Nästa.
Välj “Backup the Encryption Key”.
Fyll i passande folder att spara din .bin nyckel i.
Ett lösen på minst 8 tecken.

System Center Operations Manager 2007 R2 CU4 planering och uppgradering steg 1
Steg 1 i mitt fall, se över vilka komponenter man har i SCOM miljön och i vilken ordning dessa skall uppgraderas. Ordningen ser ni nedan i de 10 exempel stegen.
Bilden nedan ser ni exempelkarta över hur mitt scenario ser ut, alla 10 stegen kommer därför inte göras då t.ex. ACS roll inte existerar.

- Root Management Server (RMS) Management Server (OPSMgr 2007 R2 Server)
- SQL Server
- Gateway Server Operations konsol
- Web Console server
- Manuellt installerade agenter
- Audit Collection Services (ACS) server

Installationsordning för uppdatering med CU4:
- Root Management Server (RMS)
- Uppdatera OpsMgr databasen och kör den inkluderade filen filen
- Manuellt inmportera management packeten.
- Om man har en sekundär Management server5.
- DMZ/Gateways servers
- Skicka ut agent uppdatering till de agenter som använder discovery-based installation.
- Maskiner med Operations Console rollen. Notera att när man uppdaterar denna roll, välj alternativet “Run Server Update” alternativet från mjukvaru uppdaterings dialag rutan.
- Maskiner med Web Console server rollen.
- Maskiner med Audit Collection Services (ACS) rollen.
- Agent uppdatering på manuellt installerade agenter.
Kontrollerar version på RMS, RMS-Stage och Gateway.
SCOM kolla vilka uppdateringar som är installerade sedan tidigare, CU3

Ladda ner CU4 filen om de redan inte är gjort och påbörja steg 1.
SCOM 2007 R2 CU4
Microsoft har släpt Cumulative Update 4 för System Center Operation Manager 2007 R2.
Cumulative Update 4 för SCOM 2007 R2 löser dessa problem:
- The Performance and Resource Optimization (PRO) Tips feature does not function correctly after you install Cumulative Update 3 for SCOM 2007 R2.
- The Alert view does not work correctly when the source of an alert contains both monitors and rules.
- The event description is not collected by the Azure management pack. To resolve this issue, build the Windows Azure application by using Windows Azure SDK 1.3.
- The monitoring host process may stop responding on a computer that is running on Windows Server 2003 Service Pack 2 (SP2).
- The performance of the Diagram view is slow if a user role is in the scope of many groups.
- In the web console properties for an alert, the hyperlinks on the Knowledge tab are not active.
